SAFE AT-HOME and Making Your Summer Plans All About the League

Well, if this weren't the year of... every kind of schedule rearrangement known to mankind right there (aka 2020 COVID and beyond!), a phrase like "safe at home" could really fly below sports radar unless perhaps paired with say: couch or screen... all sorts of fun we've had adapting our viewing preferences have made terms like these basically part of lexicon... though if baseball's your bag...

Fast forward through many updates (and trust your local team was working out plans while on lock, okay?: we know what happened there) you end back-up close enough into summer time the best sport goes high on must-list everywhere, for several of its passionate fan-base across States - 'summer like an opening day feels real' they cry: it is!

With no actual schedule-altered home run contests left unscored as in those "first half-season cancelled entirely" sort where everyone agreed together it just wasn't... (for so very many sports and other summer programs too) now, baseball fans do get to keep what truly still matters even now in their world: standings by record...

And finally we take in the Washington Nationals as at number one (in team order, that's - there still are others after that for record count)... even given no baseball game actually takes play - just stats we got all day long as do MLB.

All they said that these standings keep on track - like regular routine we know by now we always have a winner in the safe-place. But when teams meet once more, they're set again in some of this real 'home-game' spirit we get...
